It’s impossible for someone to empathize with you if they can’t do so within themselves, in their own lives and situations.
Too, no one owes you empathy. It’s a gift. When it comes, cherish it. If it’s not available, it provides you with ever more opportunities to uncover even more empathy within yourself.
